1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sonus Events' website, services, or communication channels (including SMS, WhatsApp, email), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Sonus Events provides full-service technical event production services, including:

• Professional audio-visual equipment rental and installation
• Event lighting production
• LED video walls and displays
• Event management and coordination
• Staging and rigging
• Content creation (photography, videography, motion graphics)
• Venue finding and supplier sourcing

3. SMS and WhatsApp Messaging

3.1 Program Description

By opting in, you will receive text messages (SMS) and/or WhatsApp messages from Sonus Events regarding event booking confirmations, quotation and proposal notifications, payment reminders, event day reminders and logistics updates, customer service communications, and occasional marketing messages (only if you have explicitly opted in).

3.2 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your event schedule. You may receive 1-2 messages per week for active bookings, and 3-5 messages during the week leading up to your event.

3.3 Opt-Out Instructions

You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by:

• Texting STOP to any message you receive from us
• Replying UNSUBSCRIBE to any message

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Booking and Payment Terms

Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated, subject to equipment availability.

Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when a signed quotation/contract is received and the required deposit is paid.

Payment Terms

• 25% deposit due upon booking confirmation
• 75% balance due 7 days before the event date
• Payment accepted via Stripe (card) or BACS transfer

Cancellation Policy

• 4+ weeks before event: 50% of total invoice
• 2–4 weeks before event: 75% of total invoice
• Less than 2 weeks: 100% of total invoice (no refund)

5. Liability and Insurance

Sonus Events maintains £10,000,000 public liability insurance.

We shall not be liable for damages caused by misuse of equipment, delays due to force majeure, or indirect/consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific event.

6. Equipment

Clients are responsible for the care of rented equipment. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be charged at replacement cost. We reserve the right to substitute equivalent or superior equipment if specified items become unavailable.

7. Intellectual Property

All content created by Sonus Events remains our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients receive a license for intended use. We retain the right to use event content for marketing and portfolio purposes unless explicitly restricted.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.

9. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or venue closures. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide alternatives.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance.
